The Greenway Foundation
Since 1974, The Greenway Foundation has led efforts to reclaim the South Platte River and its tributaries from a virtual cesspool to a place of environmental and recreational pride. They have constructed more than 100 miles of hiking and biking trails, created 20+ parks and natural areas throughout the Denver Metro Area. Their efforts have vastly improved the health of the South Platte River Watershed and its habitats while providing environmental education to more than 60,000 school children. The Greenway Foundation has helped create over $100 million of green improvement to the South Platte River and its tributaries, facilitating over $10 billion in residential and commercial development throughout the Denver Metro area.

City of Glendale, CO
A forward thinking community with the environment, and their budget, taking front and center in all they do, Glendale was the first city to take on the full suite of the Poo Free Parks® service project. Nestled in the middle of the city of Denver, Glendale houses a large dog population, 10 parks, and one professionally developed off-leash dog park. Glendale is home to the Glendale Raptors, one of the most well respected and well known rugby clubs in America, making its nickname, "Rugby Town, USA."
